David Hebrink June 19, 1918 - March 23, 2013

RENVILLE - David Hebrink, age 94, of Renville, died Saturday evening, March 23, at RenVilla Care Center in Renville.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg.

David Hebrink was born June 19, 1918 on the family farm in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, the son of William and Annie (Mensink) Hebrink. He was baptized at the Prinsburg Christian Reformed Church and received his education at rural school District 85. He married Margaret J. Bulthuis on September 26, 1940. They lived and farmed southwest of Prinsburg for approximately 60 years. David continued to help Jim Ahrenholz farm the land after his retirement. He was an active member of Bethany Reformed Church and served as a deacon. During his lifetime he enjoyed playing cards, going on trail rides and parades with his horses, and going on many bus trips.

He is survived by two sons, Myron (and Beverly) Hebrink of Renville and Lyle (and Joan) Hebrink of Austin; a daughter, Joyce (and Karl) Pokorny of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Roelofs; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret in 2007; six brothers; five sisters; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Hebrink; and a great-great-grandson, Harrison Hebrink.
