Dawson-Boyd beats MACCRAY in 5A semifinal

MAYNARD - Dawson-Boyd scored 21 points in the first half en route to a 28-0 win over MACCRAY in a Section 5A football semifinal Saturday.

The Blackjacks will face top-seed Minneota for the section title at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall.

Dawson-Boyd's Matt Anderson ran for 170 yards and touchdown, and also threw for a TD in the win.

Caleb Hanson threw for 124 yards as the Wolverines were held to 197 yards of offense.
