Dayton calls for unity in solving the issues facing the state and its residents

Mark Dayton's first sp-eech as the governor of Minnesota illustrated the problems he faces.

While calling for teamwork to solve the state's problems, Dayton on Monday also insisted the richest Minnesotans need to pay higher taxes, something Republicans who take control of the state Legislature today have declared they are strongly against.
