ST. PAUL -- Gov.-elect Mark Dayton and Republican Senate leaders agree on the need to reduce the time it takes for businesses and farmers to get state permits, but differ on a new Vikings stadium.


The rare meeting with the two top GOP senators and Dayton, however, was more of a get-to-know-you session than one where deals were made.
