WILLMAR -- Deanna Jean Spink, 58, of Willmar, formerly of Moville, Iowa, died Thursday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. She had suffered from cancer for two years.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery, Cor-rectionville, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church in Iowa.
She was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Arthur Henry and Dorotha Fern (Shever) Deming. She grew up in Correctionville where she graduated from high school in 1968.
On Jan. 30, 1971, she married Delbert Spink in Correctionville. They lived in Sioux City, Moville and LeMars, Iowa. She worked as a pharmacy technician in Moville and LeMars. She moved to Willmar in 2005 and worked at the Willmar Surgery Center.
She was a member of Moville United Methodist Church, where she played piano and served as a Sunday School teacher and Christmas program coordinator. After moving to Willmar, she became a member of Eagle Lake Lutheran Church. She had been active with Methodist Youth Fellowship, 4-H and the Woodbury Central Booster Club.
She is survived by her children: Holly (and Adam) Gibson of Willmar, Chad (and Michelle) Spink of Papillion, Neb., and Rick Spink of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; three grandchildren; and her brother: Doug (and Barb) Deming of Kimberling City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
