The Wildcats' defense forced several turnovers early with a full-court press and turned them into easy layups. NLS held the Jaguars to three points in the first 7:15 of the game, while pumping in 20 points.

The Wildcats would lead 47-21 at halftime.

BBE, which has only 10 players on its varsity roster and only seven saw action in the first half, could only cut two points of the lead in the second half.

Todd Herman added 15 points, Justin Haats and Tim Dreier 11 each and Josh Eliason 10. Herman had nine of New London-Spicer's 37 rebounds.

Andy Hadley led three Jaguars in double figures with 14 points. Jordan Weller and Spencer Otteson followed with 11 each. Otteson also had a team-high five rebounds.
