PAYNESVILLE - Deloris M. Hoekstra, 76 of Paynesville, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Crystal Hills Assembly of God in Paynesville. Interment will be in the Paynesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville and for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Deloris M. Hoekstra was born on May 31, 1936 on the family farm near Regal, the daughter of Lionel and Elverna (Wendlandt) Krupke. She grew up on the family farm and attended Paynesville High School, graduating in 1954. On April 22, 1955, Deloris was united in marriage to Theodore Hoekstra. They made their home north of Paynesville where Deloris was actively involved in the farming operation. Shortly after retirement in 1992, they opened Ted’s RV Land in Paynesville, where Deloris loved to cook for the entire staff. Deloris and Ted were able to share in 56 years of marriage before Ted’s death on January 3, 2011.

Deloris was a member of Crystal Hills Assembly of God in Paynesville where she and Ted had been active members. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She will be remembered for her loving caring spirit, gift of hospitality and service to others.

She is survived by her children, Jerry (Rita) Hoekstra of Paynesville, Jodi (Doug) Molone of Indianola, IA, and Joan (Adam) Lindquist of Becker; 13 grandchildren, Davis (Amelia) Hoekstra, Derek, Sheena, Shanna, Dayten, Sierra Hoekstra, Lindsay (Zack) Mohr, Lyndon, Lynette, and Lynnea Molone, Mercedes Hoekstra, Tyler and Alayna Lindquist; 7 great-grandchildren, Kylie, Gabriel, Nolan Hoekstra, Gaige, Hayden and Isabele Mohr and Brinley Molone; brothers, Irvin (Sandra) Krupke and LeRoy (Diane) Krupke and daughter-in-law, Tonya (Jared) Johnson.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Samuel; husband, Ted and son, Jim.
