Visibilities may degrade to as low as a few hundred feet in some locations.

The fog will be most dense in rural area south and west of the Mississippi River Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Chanhassen. This includes most of west central Minnesota.

In addition, with temperatures below freezing in most locations, the fog could create a thin glaze of ice on some surfaces. This glaze will be especially on less traveled roadways and over bridges and elevated lanes.

All motorists are advised to allow extra time to reach their destination this morning.
