The sheriff's office received a call at 8 p.m. Thursday after neighbors reported seeing the man carrying four to five 20-pound gas cylinders into his house.

Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog said deputies tried to make contact with him. At midnight, the man came out of the house and he was arrested, said Hartog. He said the man was alone in the house.

Deputies asked neighbors to evacuate during the incident. There were no injuries and no explosion.

Hartog said deputies executed a search warrant this morning and searched the house. Hartog said the investigation is continuing.

Hartog said the man will appear in court on Monday.

Hartog and five deputies were assisted at the scene by officers from the State Patrol and Department of Natural Resources. The Lake Lillian Fire Department was called to stand by.
