MADISON -- Highway 75 in Madison will be detoured from First Street to Ninth Street West, beginning today.
The detour is expected to last until Monday, depending on the weather, according to a news release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews from the city of Madison will install sanitary sewer pipe liners below the highway at Second Street, Fifth Street and Seventh Street.
Traffic will be detoured east on Highway 40, north on First Avenue, west on Lac Qui Parle County Road 22 and back to Highway 75. A detour map is posted at http://www.dot.state.mn.us/d8/.
