Weather permitting, the Kandiyohi County Public Works Department will begin work Monday on Kandiyohi County Road 39, also known as the Tri-County Road.

The project, which will consist of box culvert replacement, grading operations, gravel base and bituminous surfacing, will take place south of Kandiyohi County Road 105.

The construction zone will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project, which is expected to last until the end of August.

Also on Monday, crews will begin work on the Dovre Township road of 11th Street Northeast from Kandiyohi County Road 27 north to 105th Avenue Northeast.

The project will consist of grade widening and gravel surfacing.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes during the project, which is expected to take 15 days.
