Victor Walter Stiehm, 23, was arraigned Friday in Eighth District Court. Judge Michael Thompson set unconditional bond at $50,000. Conditional bail is set at $15,000, with requirements that include reporting immediately to probation and having no contact with the victim either at her home or place of work.

Stiehm was arrested and jailed Wednesday. According to court records, Willmar Police found at least 11 voice mail and text messages on the victim's cell phone. The messages, allegedly from Stiehm, were sent Tuesday and Wednesday.

Court records indicated that Stiehm and the victim had known each other since this past summer, and that a disagreement had arisen after they recently traded cars and the woman wanted her car back.
