The dog, a black and gray Schnauzer mix named Lord, ran away from the crash scene.

According to the Humane Society of Kandiyohi and Meeker Counties, he has been spotted a few times in the area. Volunteers have been going out daily to search for him.

The Humane Society said this morning that the most recent sighting was in the neighborhood of a mobile home park in Blomkest. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter at 235-7612.

A second Schnauzer named Lady was rescued after the crash and is now being cared for at Fancy Coats Grooming and Pet Inn in Kandiyohi.

Justin Gustafson, 29, of Redwood Falls died in the multi-vehicle crash on Saturday when another vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a red light at the intersection, 10 miles south of Willmar. Six other people were injured, one critically.
