PRINSBURG -- Donald Kleinhuizen, 82, of Prinsburg died Sunday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Burial will be in Holland Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home.
He was born July 23, 1927, in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, to Harold and Irene (Poelstra) Kleinhuizen.
He married Wanda Van Heuveln on May 25, 1948, in Prinsburg. They lived in Prinsburg and he worked in road construction, retiring as field superintendent for Park Construction of Minneapolis. He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg.
He is survived by his wife; three children: Kathleen (and Kent) Tebben of Caledonia, Mich., Sharon (and Mark) Erickson of Willmar and Arvid (and Lynn) Kleinhuizen of Willmar; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings: Nick (and Lilah) Kleinhuizen of Willmar, Luverne (and Beatrice) Kleinhuizen of Willmar, Wayne (and Marilyn) Kleinhuizen of Blomkest, Melvin (and Joann) Kleinhuizen of Prinsburg, Dorothy Blokzyl of Willmar, Martha Dunsmore of Fosston and Eileen (and Ron) Fritz of Waconia.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
