WILLMAR - Donna E. Gjelhaug, 59, of Willmar, died Sunday, September 29th at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Her funeral will be 2:00 pm, Friday, October 4th at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake, rural New London. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.

Donna was born on May 13, 1954, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Johnny and Clara (Sakariason) Gjelhaug. She grew up in the Kerkhoven Sunburg area and graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1973. She lived in Sunburg and New London before moving into Willmar in 1999. Donna did daycare and also did housekeeping for many years.

She was a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake having been baptized on June 15, 1954 and confirmed on June 1, 1969. Donna sang in the choir and also taught Sunday school.

Surviving are her son, Christopher of Willmar; brother, Johnny (and Bonnie) Gjelhaug of Duluth and sister, Gayle Rehn of Willmar. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Eileen Gjelhaug of Raleigh, NC and brother-in-law, Jerry Rothbauer of Minnetonka.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Lowell, Robert and Gordon and sister, Nancy Rothbauer.
