WOOD LAKE -- Dorothy Alice McLagan, 89, of Wood Lake, died Friday at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Wood Lake United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be for one and one-half hours before the service at the church. Arrangments are with Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls.
She was born Aug. 29, 1919, in rural Bellingham to Frank and Mary (Steffen) Witte. She grew up in the Bellingham area attending country school through the sixth grade and graduating from Bellingham High School in 1936.
She married Clayton McLagan on Sept. 28, 1939, in Bellingham. She was a homemaker. They moved to the Wood Lake area in the mid 1950s. She was a member of the Wood Lake United Methodist Church. She moved to the Manor in Granite Falls in 2005.
She is survived by her children: Judith (and Floyd) Kumerow of Lamberton, Carol (and Dick) Timm of Wood Lake and Charles (and Cathy) McLagan of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, two brothers and one sister.
