Driving conditions are difficult in west central Minn.

WILLMAR – Driving conditions are difficult today in west central Minnesota after Saturday’s snow and rain.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow says the Patrol is cautioning motorists to pay attention and slow down.

Roads in west central Minnesota are snow-packed and slippery with icy patches, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s road and travel condition website, www.511mn.org. There is also blowing snow reported.

Grabow said MnDOT crews are working to put down sand, salt and other chemicals, but he repeated the caution to drivers to slow down.
