Driving conditions improved to fair in parts of west central Minn.

WILLMAR -- Road crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation have been working on the highways today, and driving conditions have improved on some highways in west central Minnesota.

Some areas are still rated as difficult, according to the MnDOT road and travel condition website at www.511mn.org, but other areas have been upgraded to fair. There are still icy patches and slippery conditions, and law enforcement officials have advised motorists to slow down.
