During a week designated to review dangers of summer storms, snow is in the forecast

WILLMAR — This is severe weather awareness week, when state and local public safety officials seek to increase citizen awareness of the dangers of summer storms — extreme heat, thunder, lightning, floods and tornadoes.

But winter doesn’t seem to want end and the annual tornado drills, practiced across the state at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. on Thursday, may be accompanied by a chance of rain and snow and temperatures in the 30s.
