Eagle Lake road construction work to begin today near Willmar, Minn.
WILLMAR -- Construction is scheduled to begin today on Kandiyohi County Road 9 on the east side of Eagle Lake near Willmar.

The construction zone will be closed to through traffic and residents are asked to use alternate routes.
According to the Kandiyohi County Public Works Department office in Willmar, the phase I construction will begin on 37th Street Northeast from 45th Avenue Northeast to Kandiyohi County Road 9.
The work will consist of grading operations and gravel base. The construction is scheduled to be complete in 2013.
Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg is the prime contractor for the project.
Motorists are reminded to slow down for their safety and the safety of the workers as construction continues.
