Earl 'Bud' Larson Nov. 2, 1922 - Oct. 13, 2008

KANDIYOHI -- Charles Earl "Bud" Larson, 85, of Kandiyohi, died Monday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tripolis Lutheran Church in rural Kandiyohi. Burial will be Cloverleaf Memorial Cemetery in Willmar.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Kandiyohi Township to Ferdie and Ruth (Bergquist) Larson. He attended school at Whittier school in Kandiyohi.

He married Gwen Latterell in Spicer. They farmed on the family's century farm in Kandiyohi Township. He was a member of Tripolis Lutheran Church where he served as an usher and belonged to the men's club. He was also a member of Kandi Local Farmers Union and the NFO.

He is survived by his wife; children: Dean Larson of Kandiyohi, Dianne (and Jon) Benton of Norwood-Young America; two grandsons and a sister: Marjorie Isaac Webber of South Amherst, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by one sister.
