SACRED HEART -- Earle "Butch" Meyer Jr., 61, died April 4 at his home in Hayward, Wis.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Community Cemetery in Sacred Heart.
Visitation will follow the service at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart.
He was born Nov. 7, 1947, in Montevideo to Earle and Ruth (Gulbranson) Meyer. He graduated from high school in Sacred Heart in 1965, enlisted in the Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. He was an auto body technician and worked as an over the road truck driver in his later years.
He is survived by his two sons: Eric (and Erin) Meyer of Magna, Utah, and Jeremy Meyer of Hayward, Wis.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings: Nona Meyer (and Verne) Strandjord of LeSueur and Jerry Meyer of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
