Echo, Granite Falls drivers hurt in crash north of Echo, Minn.

ECHO -- A 50-year-old Echo woman and a 17-year-old Granite Falls boy were treated and released from Granite Falls Hospital for injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash around 6:15 p.m. Monday north of Echo.

According to the State Patrol, Carey L. Hoepner, 50 of Echo, was driving a 2009 Toyota Highlander that was struck from behind by a 1999 Ford Taurus driven by Kyle Z. Gluth, 17, of Granite Falls. The crash happened along State Highway 67 north of Echo.

Also responding to the crash was the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office.
