Economy leads YM County to postpone addition plans
GRANITE FALLS -- Concerns about the recession and the state's budget deficit have led the Yellow Medicine County Board of Commissioners to put off a planned expansion to the courthouse in Granite Falls.
The commissioners decided at their meeting Tuesday that they would hold off on the project, although they have been building a reserve of funds to pay most of its costs.
