As part of a plea agreement in Meeker County District Court, four additional felony charges will be dismissed. She will be sentenced March 16.

James R. Nelson, 50, and Amy J. Langford, 43, both died when the 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle they were riding was struck from behind by a 2005 Chevy van driven by Klein.

The crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. July 24 along State Highway 55 in Eden Valley.

Klein was arrested by a Minnesota State Patrol trooper after she failed field sobriety tests and submitted to a preliminary breath test. She had an alcohol concentration of 0.188.

According to the criminal complaint, she was taken by the trooper to Paynesville Area Hospital. A blood sample was then taken.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Klein admitted to driving the van. She said she was coming from Eden Valley, tried to avoid the bike and was not sure if she had hit it.
