RAYMOND -- Edith Elaine Henslin, 82, of Raymond died Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Raymond.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Montevideo to Lubbert and Johanna (Eckhoff) Reents. She grew up in the Raymond and Clara City area and graduated from Clara City High School.
She married Reuben Henslin on June 16, 1947, in Clara City. They lived in Clara City and, in 1953, moved to Raymond. She worked at Variety Supply in Clara City, at the bank in Raymond and was a substitute for the Postal Service in Willmar and Raymond. She became the postmaster in Raymond where she retired. She worked as an election judge and volunteered at Rice Memorial Hospital, Bethesda Homes and Bibles for Missions. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond.
She is survived by her children: Barry Henslin of Troy, Mont., Rita (and Ed) Buntje of Long Lake, Joy Malo of Grand Rapids, Lori (and Todd) Asche of Spicer, Kris Henslin of Spicer, Julie Henslin (and Steve Vossen) of Willmar, Keven (and Robin) Henslin of Champlin, Jeff Henslin (and Simone Moreira) of Brazil and Craig Henslin of St. Paul; 12 grandchildren; siblings: Kenneth (and Betty) Reents of Iowa, Lorraine Krausert of Austin and Audrey Bunger of Des Moines, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, one brother and one sister.
