An old and familiar spring foe -- the cold rising water of the Red River of the North -- has returned to Minnesota and North Dakota.

The Red River is still rising this morning. The National Weather Service says the river will likely crest Saturday in Fargo-Moorhead at a record-setting 41 feet, with the crest expected to last two to three days.
