Editorial: Ward 3 - Elect Steve Ahmann

Former councilman Steve Ahmann is running unopposed in Ward 3 for the Willmar City Council.

He should be elected again to the council.

Ahamnn has served well during his previous terms on the City Council. A local builder, he was a councilman from 1988 to 1994.

Thus, Ahmann brings significant experience to the council, which means he can quickly get up to speed.

Ahmann has served on the city's Human Rights Commission, the community's library committee and as the council's representative to the Rice Memorial Hospital board of directors.

Overall, we believe Ahmann will be a positive addtion to the City Council.

The West Central Tribune endorses Ahmann for election to the Willmar City Council's Ward 3 seat.
