MORRIS -- Eileen Mae Waller, 96, of Morris died Sunday at West Wind Village in Morris.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Morris.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials are preferred to West Wind Village in Morris or the Morris Senior Citizen Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Rolfe, Iowa, to Timothy and Charlotte (Cunningham) Corcoran. She grew up in Donnelly, where she received her schooling.
On Nov. 24, 1931, she married Hiram Waller in Donnelly. They owned and operated a restaurant in Donnelly for nine years. She then worked at the Donnelly Co-op Grocery Store where she served as manager for several years. They then moved to Morris where she worked for Johnson Drug for 29 years. Hiram died in 1975.
She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, where she served on various committees over the years. She was also a member of the Morris Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Legion.
She is survived by two sons: Merle (and Betty) Waller of Joliet, Ill., and Rolly (and Faye) Waller of Bensenville, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and siblings: Frances, Bud, Helen, Ed and Pat.
She was preceded in death by her husband and seven siblings.
