Engagement: Malkuch -- Pierson
Rachel Malkuch of Waukesha, Wis., and Anthony Pierson of Sioux Falls, S.D., are engaged to married July 16 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Willmar.
Malkuch is the daughter of Ross and Joanne Malkuch of Pennock.
She is a 2000 graduate of Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis., and a 2005 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, with a degree in elementary and secondary education. She is employed by Trinity Lutheran School in Waukesha as an eighth-grade teacher.
Pierson is the son of Vern and Wendy Pierson of Sioux Falls.
He is a 2002 graduate of Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, S.D., and a 2011 graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, with a degree in English. He is employed by Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls as a teacher for after-school care.
