MORRIS -- Esther Elizabeth Noordmans, 89, of Morris died Thursday.

The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Evangelical Free Church in Morris. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.

Visitation is for one hour prior to the service today at the church. Memorials are preferred to The Gideons International.

She was born Nov. 29, 1919, near Madison, S.D., to Franklin and Caroline (Haufschild) Healy. She grew up in Hancock and graduated from Hancock High School. She attended Trinity Bible College in Minneapolis.

She married Sidney Noordmans on Sept. 27, 1947, in Hancock. They farmed near Hancock.

She was a member of Gideon's Auxiliary and the Hancock Evangelical Free Church.

She is survived by her husband; children: Dale (and Betty) Noordmans of Hancock, Phil (and Teri) Noordmans of San Diego, Calif., Rollie (and Rachel) Noordmans of Glenwood, Martha (and Jim) Taylor of Mound and Rhoda (and Larry) Fagerland of Sauk Rapids; 15 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Ellwyn (and Vicky) Healy of Minneapolis and Fremont (and Alice) Healy of Willmar.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
