The Kossuth County sheriff's office says 13 bundles of pot were discovered on Tuesday as the grain cars at the Global Ethanol Plant were being inspected.

Sheriff Steve Kollasch says a suspicious black plastic bundle was hidden in the hollow metal frame of the grain car. A deputy then pulled out more bundles, each weighing about 5 pounds.

Authorities say the grain cars came to Iowa from Mexico. The investigation continues.
