Faith leaders oppose cuts to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
WILLMAR — More than 150 Minnesota clergy and religious leaders including a priest from Fairfax are urging U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar to oppose cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — formerly known as food stamps — in the farm bill being negotiated in Congress.
