REDWOOD FALLS -- A record that stood for 47 years was knocked off the top shelf Tuesday when Mike Felt of Redwood Valley became the area's all-time top scorer.

Felt, a senior guard, poured in 37 points as the Cardinals thwarted Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 67-51 in a non-conference boys basketball game.

Felt broke the record held by former Danube great Bob Bruggers. Bruggers had 2,364 career points. Felt now has 2,371.
