Final information meeting on Highway 23 bypass set

WILLMAR -- The public is invited to attend the final informational meeting for the U.S. Highway 23 Paynesville Bypass project at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Paynesville American Legion, 770 W. Highway 23, Paynesville.

Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and KGM Contractors Inc. will provide an overview of the project and address questions or concerns.

The 7.5-mile, four-lane divided bypass project is located north of New London from Kandiyohi County Road 6 to west of 263rd Avenue in Paynesville. Work includes grading, paving, constructing eight bridges and lighting.

The project is nearing completion.
