Finally, spring temperatures forecast to arrive this week

WILLMAR -- Finally, the high temperatures forecasted for west central Minnesota will get back to seasonal levels and reach the 40-degree range.

According to the National Weather Service, the expected high temperature for Willmar is 39 for Wednesday and Thursday and 43 for Friday.

However, a front moving across the state on Thursday and Friday will bring a threat of light rain and snow. The chance of precipitation in Willmar is 50 percent on Thursday, 40 percent Thursday night and 20 percent on Friday.

Saturday's forecast is for mostly sunny skies and a high near 44 degrees.
