According to a news release from Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin, deputies and the Dassel Fire Department were paged just after noon Monday to a camper fire along County Road 14 near Darwin.

The computer, a 1997 Starcraft owned and being towed by James Adams of Litchfield, was a total loss. Adams told deputies that he was driving down the road and observed smoke coming from the vent just above where the refrigerator sits inside the camper. He believed it was possible that's where the fire started.
