Fire that destroyed Atwater businesses and buildings is ruled arson

ATWATER -- Arson is the cause of a February fire that gutted three commercial buildings in the heart of downtown Atwater.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in St. Paul announced Monday that the investigation revealed that the fire had been intentionally set.
