First Street Bridge work begins today in Willmar, Minn.

WILLMAR -- First Street Bridge will be switched from four-lane traffic to two-lane traffic beginning today for bridge deck maintenance improvements. City officials anticipate the work to take up to two weeks to complete.

Traffic will be allowed through the construction zone, but motorists will need to be aware of traffic control changes and reduced speed limits. Motorists are advised to slow down for their safety and the safety of the workers.
