Test nets showed a low abundance of Tullibee, or Cisco, on the lake, forcing the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources' Fisheries Office to cancel the netting season.

A list of netting seasons and regulations for other Minnesota lakes can be found at www.dnr.state.mn.us. Click on "Fishing" tab, then "Regulations" tab, then "Whitefish-Cisco sport gillnetting" tab. Contact the Spicer Fisheries Office at 320-796-2161 or send email to: dave.coahran@state.mn.us
