PAYNESVILLE -- Florence M. Potter, 90, of Paynesville, died Saturday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville. Burial will be at the Paynesville Cemetery.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville.

She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Eden Lake Township in Stearns County to Frank and Augusta (Wagner) Liestman. She grew up on the family farm and attended rural school in District 205.

On Aug. 8, 1942, she married George R. Potter in Rolla, Mo., while he was in the service. She was employed by Elmquist Dime Store, Stan's Maytag Store, Bolstad's Store and Thompson Store, all in Paynesville.

She was a former member of rural Ebenezer Church and currently a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Mary Circle and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by her brothers: Marvin Liestman of Tomah, Wis., and Delmar (and Donna) Liestman of Princeton; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 17, 1999; two sisters and three brothers.
