Mitch Tauer took the opening kickoff 35 yards, then five plays later Trevor Heining scored the first of his four touchdowns -- on six total carries -- as the No. 3 Falcons (6-4) advanced to the section final game against top-seed St. Bernard's Friday at 7 p.m. at Hamline University.

Heining scored on runs of 4, 2, 54 and 3 yards, totaling 75 yards overall. Kurt Litzau had two TDs and 75 yards rushing. Mitch Tauer ran for 78 yards and threw one TD pass. Erik Whitcomb led ACGC with 82 yards rushing.

"Our kids blocked well and our backs had some nice cutbacks," ACGC coach Terry Karlsgodt said.

The Falcons' defense shut down the St. Agnes running game, allowing just four yards. Through the air, St. Agnes passed for 158 yards, but completed just 12 of 31. ACGC recorded seven sacks with Heining lead the way with three and Matt Meyer adding two.
