COLLEGEVILLE -- Junior Matt Rosemeier filled the running back slot quite well for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Friday, rushing for 208 yards an scoring three touchdowns as the Fighting Saints blanked St. John's Prep 29-0 in Prairie South football action Friday.

Rosemeier, who took the bulk of the carries in place of Jared Johnson, scored on runs of 10, 2 and 42 yards. Johnson was rested most of the game, according to KMS head coach James Cortez.

Grant Johnson scored the Fighting Saints' other touchdown on a four-yard run in the third quarter.

Justin Dooley had two interceptions and Jason Fernholz one quarterback sack for the defense.

Fullback Jim Siegle rushed for three touchdowns in 30 carries that amassed 187 yards as the Thunder evened their record at 3-3.

LPGE took a 22-0 lead by halftime but third-quarter touchdown runs by Mike Amborn (seven yards) and Zach Bothun (18 yards) around Siegle's third TD run made it 28-14 after three quarters.

Bothun, who carried for 152 yards in 24 attempts, had a nine-yard scoring run in the fourth period but the Thunder still pulled away with two more scores.

Gage Halvorson added 84 yards in seven carries for Montevideo.
