Forecast: A bit of snow with patchy blowing and wind chills below zero

It is called snow that you see outside today and a little more wind is coming to blow it around today.

More snow is likely with patchy blowing snow before noon today, followed by a slight chance of snow this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.

Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

Colder weather is here as well, with the temperatures falling to around 18 by 5 p.m. Wind chill values will range between zero and 10.

A north northwest wind between 25 and 29 mph is forecast for this afternoon, with gusts as high as 46.

A slight change of flurries is forecast for tonight, with a low around 6. Wind chill values between -4 and -14 are expected with a blustery northwest wind between 22 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36.

The high Thursday is forcast near 8. Wind chill values will continue between -10 and -15, with a blustery north northwest wind between 20 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
