Forum slated in Willmar, Minn., on sustainable care

WILLMAR -- A forum on the creation of a sustainable health care system will be at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 16 in the auditorium of the MinnWest Technology Campus.

Registration and a complimentary breakfast start at 7 a.m.

The guest speaker is Dr. Sanne Magnan, president and chief executive officer of the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement and former Minnesota Commissioner of Health.

Topics to be addressed at the forum include current issues in health and health care and a framework for reform that covers better health, better care and lower costs. The discussion also will explore how health reform will affect local communities and how clinicians, citizens, employers and other stakeholders can create a sustainable future.
