Four Vikings named All-Pro

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Four Minnsota Vikings players were named to the 2008 Associated Press NFL All-Pro first team by a panel of 50 sportswriters and broadcasters who cover the sport.

Adrian Peterson topped all running backs with 45 votes. Steve Hutchinson was the top vote-getter among guards with 40 votes.

Jared Allen received 21 votes and was second among defensive ends. And Kevin Williams was second among defensive tackles with 25 votes.

Antoine Winfield earned a spot on the second team at cornerback.

Pat Williams got one vote at defensive tackle.

The Vikings won the NFC North Division, but lost in the first round of the playoff to the Philadelphia Eagles.
