Francis Pearthree Feb. 13, 1924 - Aug. 6, 2009
SPICER -- Francis "Frank" Luverne Pearthree, 85, of Spicer, died Aug. 6 at the home of his daughter in Henderson, Nev., after a lengthy illness.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at his cabin on the north shore of Nest Lake, 5871 150th Ave. N.E., Spicer.
He was born Feb. 13, 1924, to Arnim and Christine (Johnson) Pearthree. He was raised on a farm in McGregor where he graduated from school. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps and then served in World War II. After his discharge, he graduated from the University of Minnesota and attended William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul. In 1951, he joined the FBI until retirement. During retirement, he taught some college classes and worked in real estate.
He is survived by his children: Beth (and Ed) Albertson of Heath, Ohio, Francey Pearthree of Panama City, Fla., Kathleen Pearthree of Henderson, Nev., Jeanne (and Steve) Wilson of Brandon, Fla., and Herbert (and Patty) Pearthree of Cary, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Agnes (and Jim) Barott of Lewiston, Idaho, Murray (and Jean) Pearthree of Durango, Colo., and Harold (and Marilyn) Pearthree of Aitkin.
He was preceded in death by his son: James Pearthree; one brother; and one sister.
