Fredeen -- Mertz

Heather Fredeen of Spicer and Jeremy Mertz of Olivia are engaged to be married June 4 at Peace Lutheran Church in New London.

Fredeen is the daughter of Brad and Vel Fredeen of Spicer.

She is a 2005 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and a 2007 graduate of Ridgewater College with an associate degree in liberal arts. She is a stay-at-home mother.

Mertz is the son of Randy and June Mertz of Olivia.

He is a 2001 graduate of BOLD High School in Olivia. He is employed by Bird Island Soil Service as an applicator.
