Freeport man injured by bull

FREEPORT -- An Albany police officer used a stun gun on a bull Sunday morning in order to rescue a farmer who had been knocked down and attacked by the animal.

According to a news release from the Stearns County Sheriff's Department, Melvin Pundsack, 74, of Freeport, was injured shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday when he was knocked down and attacked by a bull on his family farm, south of St. Francis.
