Freeport man killed in pickup rollover, ejected from vehicle

HOLDINFORD -- A 45-year-old Freeport man died at the scene of a one-vehicle rollover crash around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday along Highway 238 west of Holdingford.

According to the State Patrol, Sherwin R. Tschida was driving a 2001 Chevy pickup southbound on State Highway 238, entered a curve and overcorrected. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled several times. Tschida was not restrained by a seatbelt and was ejected.

The Stearns County Sheriff's office also responded to the crash.
